I Am Middle Aged & Motivated to Really Change My Life
If this is your case, I suggest Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. The workout will definitely challenge you. It will get you in shape and is hard enough to be your main workout routine without having to "upgrade" to a harder series. Men need to be aware that although this is a "girlie" workout, it will kick your butt. You will discover after the first 30 minute video that this is a real good place to start if you are wanting to get back into training. Try not to get into the habit of hitting the pause button. Once you do it the first time, it gets easier to do it the second. Eventually you're not doing anything.
The 30 day shred is not just a warm up for a harder workout series. If you are doing this at least 5 days a week, aren't cheating any moves, and aren't hitting the pause button, you are physically fit. Period. This level of fitness will enable you to go and do and feel great. However, don't think this routine alone will make you look like the trainers. In order to get there, you have to be following an eating plan and working out harder.
